Myopia researchers have discovered that the launch of myopia control spectacles have successfully achieved a 70% reduction in the orthokeratology industry.
Lead researcher Professor Brian Foldem told our reporters that “the increase in the orthokeratology industry had been considerable and in fact, the World Health Organisation last year declared that the subsequent prosperity for optometrists was a humanitarian emergency. Thankfully these spectacles, which are already being marketed at discount prices by some optical chains, will resolve this. The universe equilibrium of limited prosperity for optometrists has been restored.”
