Manufacturers of ophthalmoscopes have reassured their high spending clinics that there’s no way anyone could make and sell a rechargeable handle device which works perfectly and even has its own cradle, for around $20.

“There’s simply no way. We don’t believe you. You should just ignore these untrue intrusive thoughts. We can’t sell you a rechargeable handle for anything less than $500.”
