Prescription Headlamps Set To Revolutionise Self Driving Car Industry

The headlamps will take cars about a week to get used to

A new startup is set to revolutionise the self driving car industry with their release of the world’s first ever prescription headlamps for myopic autonomous vehicles.

Founder of the Centre for Research in Autonomous Seeing Headlamps (CRASH) Mr Bang Pillar announced the development in a press release today.

Pillar told our reporters “In some countries up to 90% of autonomous vehicles are myopic and until now this has placed them at a tremendous disadvantage compared to countries with a lower rate of autonomous vehicle myopia. We are seeking to even the playing field when it comes to self-driving car research.”

He went on to say “Some people have tried all sorts of exotic and unproven treatments for their vehicle’s myopia. Mechanics are telling us that every week some poor idiot will push their car in with a tank full of atropine, asking for help.”

CRASH has released pricing for the prescription headlamps, starting at $199 for standard headlamps, $299 for high index and $399 for multifocal. Each headlamp comes with a bottle of bug spray and a cleaning cloth.
