An ophthalmologist today has reported that he is quite impressed by the size and offerings of the all-you-can-eat buffet situated in the corner of the operating theatre at the new local private day surgery.
Vitreoretinal surgeon, Dr Gabriel Coulis recently commenced operating at Surgery Heights Day Centre, and so far, he is impressed with what he sees.

Dr Coulis said, “when I’m looking for a day surgery, I want the best for my patients and there’s no doubt that it’s best for my patients if I can sneak in a quick lobster tail in between cases.”
Dr Coulis also gave mention to the “delicious house-made pancakes” and the “juicy lemon shrimp roulade” which he feels give him the edge he needs to be at optimal operating capacity for his patients, most of whom have never even eaten a lemon shrimp roulade.
After a long day of 2 detachment repairs and a clear lens exchange, Dr Coulis was pleasantly surprised to see that the day surgery chef had arranged an ice sculpture centrepiece in his likeness – “it’s the little things like that which make this job worthwhile”.
