Subway Thanks Nation’s Optometrists By Offering To Sanitize Tried-On Frames In Sandwich Toasters

4 log unit reduction in viruses, bacteria and hunger.

In a press conference today, SubwayTM announced they will now offer to sanitize the tried-on frames of optometry practices nation-wide, as a thank you for the profession’s service during Covid.

The Centre For Disease Control has rated the Subway sandwich toaster as a medical-grade sterilization device due to its high temperatures, and dense salty funk. Optometrists will be eligible to sterilize up to 20 frames per day, however will be required to pay $3 if any frames have avocado on them.

Local optometrist, Dwayne Carlisle told our reporters “I love Subway. I eat it three times a day. So to be able to take all of my tried-on frames down to be sterilized while I wait for my seafood sub to be ladeled with oily goo, is a dream come true”.
