A local ophthalmologist today is certain he narrowly escaped death as an optometry couple casually walked by minding their own business.
The man, a distinguished retina specialist and lover of ballet and classism, was sitting in his car waiting for his wife of 30 years to finish her shopping at Wholefoods when the menacing couple walked by.
“I noticed them walking in my direction and I promptly locked the doors. My heart was racing. Those kind of people don’t usually come to this neighbourhood”.
The couple were unaware of the drama, and following their lovely brunch, hopped back into their Mercedes GLC AMG and drove home.
