An ophthalmic sales rep today revealed that disappointingly he has never been asked what he would be willing to do to close the deal on an OCT.
“Look, I’ve got to admit that I really thought I would have had some more pressure from customers to you know ‘sweeten the deal’ so to speak. Because frankly, I’d do anything and probably enjoy it to be honest. And I really mean anything”.
Area eye doctors weren’t surprised by the revelation. Dr Chad Chadwick told our reporters “our industry is filled with a never ending revolving door of sales reps hoping to give sexual favours in return for equipment sales. What they don’t realise is that we’re all getting enough action at home anyway. There’s never been a single eye doctor who wasn’t knee deep in whatever freaky thing they’re into.”
The sales rep has decided to pursue a career change into the podiatry industry for better odds.
