A local optometrist completely tuned out of a case history today while reminiscing about the blockbuster film Top Gun Maverick.
“I realised way too late. She was done talking and I didn’t absorb a single thing. And now I’m too embarrassed to ask her to repeat herself.”
The patient in question was unaware of the lack of attention she was receiving.
“Oh really? I was just telling her about my flashes and floaters. Not to worry I’m sure they’re normal.”
