Researchers today announced the shock finding that all visual field tests performed just before 5pm amazingly lead to no change in the patient’s management.
The researchers combed through approximately 1.5 million visual field tests performed between 4:40 and 5:00pm, and amazingly found zero which led to any change in a patient’s management, including no changes in eye drop regime, surgical intervention or any significant discussion.
The Union of Visual Field Manufacturers (UVFM) has announced that as result of the study’s findings, from next year all visual field machines will be updated such that for any patient being tested after 4:40pm, the machines will automatically send a message to the doctor’s Tesla to bring the car around at the commencement of the test and advise the patient of their “great” result at the end.
