1 in 2 Austrians Admit to Cleaning Their Contact Lenses In Almdudler

Almdudler shares properties with other contact lens cleaners, most notably the inclusion of water

A new study has shockingly revealed that 1 in 2 Austrians admit to washing their contact lenses in the nation’s favourite beverage – Almdudler.

Austrian researcher Dr Wolfgang Snapp delivered the findings in his poster at today’s Salzburg Forum for Public Health and Refreshing Beverage Crossover Studies.

Dr Snapp noted “This should come as no surprise to anybody outside of Austria. Not only does Almdudler show a 4 log unit reduction in thirstiness, it also has excellent efficacy against most Austrian specific pathogens such as knodelmonas.

Dr Snapp added “whilst the research suggested that the risk of microbial keratitis is low in Austrian contact lens wearers, we do recommend that patients ensure to rub their lenses on their lederhosen for at least 10 seconds prior to soaking in Almdudler overnight”.

Dr Snapp also wanted to point out to all Cronea readers that “no, I haven’t seen the Sound Of Music. Please stop asking. That’s like me presuming all Americans have seen Top Gun dubbed in German, that would be crazy”.
